Description
Advantages:
Complete energy independence: A generator gives you the freedom to work or live comfortably independently of the mains electricity supply, or to be insured against a power cut.
Continuity of operations: For a business, a generator provides the assurance that a power cut will not disrupt production processes, shut down refrigeration systems, or interrupt customer service, thereby protecting you from financial loss.
A wide selection of power outputs: MBG RentWe can help you select a power generator precisely tailored to your needs — from the 3 kilowatts required to run a few tools, to the hundreds of kilowatts needed to power an entire site.
Mobility and flexibility: Portable models are easy to move, while the powerful diesel generators are mounted on a transport chassis, ensuring their rapid delivery to any site.
Reliability in a critical moment: Our equipment undergoes regular servicing and inspection, ensuring it works reliably and without issues when you need it most.
Practical tips and safety:
Correct power calculation: Before choosing a generator, write down the wattage of all the appliances you plan to run at the same time. Bear in mind that motorised appliances (such as a fridge, pump or air conditioner) draw 2-3 times more starting power when they are switched on. Choose a generator with a power rating that is 20-25% higher than your total demand.
Ventilation — a key safety rule: It is strictly forbidden to run a generator inside a building, in a cellar, a garage, or near an open window! During operation, the engine emits poisonous carbon monoxide (CO), which is odourless, invisible and deadly. The generator must only be placed outdoors in a well-ventilated area.
Connection to the building: The generator must only be connected directly to the building's electrical system by a qualified electrician, using a special transfer switch. This prevents power from feeding back into the external grid, which could be fatal.
Fuel safety: Never fill the fuel tank when the engine is running or hot. Store fuel in a safe, well-ventilated place, away from any source of ignition.
Extension leads: Use only high-quality extension leads intended for outdoor use, with a thickness (gauge) appropriate for your load.
